Christopher and Kevin's wedding day started with a slightly overcast sky, as the two grooms helped each other get ready. The novel "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" played a pivotal role in Christopher and Kevin's first meeting and also on their wedding day, only in the shape of tie clips. Soon after helping each other prep, family members added some final touches and posed for some touching photos. Christopher and Kevin stepped out for pictures with the wedding party into the chilly air. It was a very cold winter day, but everyone was patient before heading into a warm, candlelit ceremony. During that special ceremony, joyful tears and laughs filled the room. The mood stayed the same throughout the ballroom, especially during the heartfelt first dance between Christopher and Kevin. When the reception moved in to full swing, the dance floor was filled with guests and never emptied. Snow flurries began to fall rapidly as everyone danced inside, it was the perfect time for the new Mr. & Mr. to get a very unique portrait. This was an unforgettable event showing solidarity and pride. I am so happy that I was granted the chance to photograph this amazing and handsome couple for their engagement session and wedding day. Many wishes to them in the years to come!
When we first met Amelia and Patrick over coffee we knew that their wedding would have a personal vibe and also a classic flair. Photographing at Cairnwood Estate always excited us and Amelia and Patrick seemed like the kind of awesome people we have as clients.
But, we never expected how fantastic their wedding would actually be. From the bride's stunning visage by Amanda Atoori to her unique dress and veil, Amelia looked like an actress from the silver screen. Patrick donned a snappy suit and looked so in love as he waited for his bride during their first look. That one of a kind moment and their emotions is something we will never forget. The historic mansion's architecture framed the couple as they kissed, hugged and cried. That moment was one of many that we feel honored to have captured. More happy tears were shed at the North & Southampton Reformed Church where the two wed in front of family and friends in a candlelit ceremony. It was back to the Cairnwood Estate to celebrate from there. Guests dined on vegan meals in various room and gathered to party in the library where the DJ pumped up the volume. There are so many great things to say about this wedding! The bridal party were all equally beautiful and rocked vintage styles and retro dresses while the guys looked great in simple suits with laid back style.
This wedding was truly an event where our coverage turned to photojournalism and we will remember our experience for a long time. We wish Amelia and Patrick the best of luck in the years to come and thank them for choosing us and appreciating our artistry.
Joanne and Paul, also known as P.B.&J. brought a fun side to the Joseph Ambler Inn on their wedding day. The picturesque estate was wet with rain, but spirits were never dampened! Joanne spent the early part of her day being styled from head to toe, while Paul chose to take it easy with his son, who also happened to serve as the best man. The couple's private first look was filled with love and energetic joy, followed by their romantic ceremony under a vine covered canopy. When it came time to party, Joanne and Paul were right in the middle of all the action. P.B.&J. know how to get down! The beautiful couple danced like nobody was watching and made sure to have a moment with every guest. Joanne and Paul's wedding was one I will remember for quite a long time. From the stunning bride and her eclectic style, to the groom and his outrageously funny antics, I couldn't ask for cooler clients! I was delighted to photograph their big day and hope my photos show the happiness and love that was made during those timeless moments.
Christine and Doug will wed in the Fall of 2017 and wanted to have a festive engagement session. A tree farm was the perfect idea, as one happens to be located right down the road from them. Christine asked nicely and the owners obliged, we now had the perfect location! It was so much fun shooting this session and hope it puts you in a joyful mood!
We met up with Ali, Lance and their dogs at Barclay Farmstead, one of our favorite locations in Cherry Hill. After a some shots with the dogs, we got to know Ali and Lance a little better. The perfect glow of the setting sun complimented their body language and genuine smiles were the expression.
Ali and Lance are set to marry this December, which we are so excited for! Now, we happily present the first part of this continuing love story...
Christina and Gene were just the pair to photograph on a crisp and bright fall day. Croft Farm Art Center set the perfect backdrop for their story. Her energetic spirit and his willingness to play along made the session quite fun. I couldn't help but ask Gene if would lift her up for a shot? He sure did, as well as carry her! Christina's smile says it all...
I can’t wait to photograph these two on their wedding day next year!
