This bright, dazzling wedding took place in the 'Electric City' area, otherwise known as Scranton, Pennsylvania. That is also the best way to describe the wedding. Lit!
From the moment I saw Christine's beautiful details and jaw dropping dress, I knew her wedding to James would be fabulous in every way! The ravishing bride primped herself (with the help of her gorgeous bridesmaids) at the historic Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton, only a short distance from her groom.
Christine and James wed at St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Cathedral Of the Polish National Catholic Church of Scranton, and had a ceremony their guests will not soon forget. The lovely and upbeat mood kept going after the ceremony and throughout the couple's bubble exit from the church and lasted all night!
The breathtaking couple stopped by Lake Scranton for a few portraits and shared some magical husband wife chemistry for the camera and even made a few funny faces. Christine and James were having the perfect day and it showed.
Next, it was time for hand crafted cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the historic, and architecturally unique Zacharellis Gardens. The entire Zacharellis Gardens estate set the backdrop for a perfect wedding night in the Pocono region and ultramodern tent brought everyone together for partying and festivities! Handmade decor and family heirlooms were important parts of this wedding, not only on display for guests to see, but also as background fixtures and decor. The rest of the night consisted of food, cake and plenty of dancing! Philadelphia based band Flip Like Wilson rocked out as guests partied on, while night grew darker. Christine and James stayed at the center of the open air tent for most of the evening, on their completely packed dance floor! From the high energy rock songs to the tender parent dances, this wedding was a thrill to photograph.
It was really awesome having the chance to photograph in a completely different area and getting a beautiful new landscape to show. Everything was made possible by these lovely clients and we wish them best in their future together!
