From start to finish, Christina and Gene's wedding was flawless. Sure, it helps that the gorgeous bride is a stylist at The Boulevard Salon, where she received top notch wedding day beautification--it also helps that the groom is an officer and a gentleman...not to mention handsome! Near to that salon is the Courtyard by Marriott Glassboro Rowan University, a hotel where the bride and groom would prepare themselves without seeing each other other until their breathtaking first look. We started the day with grabbing some shots of Gene adding the final touches to his dapper look. Check out the awesome hidden touch, his Deadpool socks! When we reached Christina's room, she was greeted with a surprise floral arrangement from her groom to be. Her bridesmaids had another surprise for her, it was a handmade album filled with memories from Christina's relationship with Gene. After a few happy tears and a moment with her adorable nephew, it was time to get into the dress. Christina was delicately dressed by her mother and sister, along with members of her wedding party doing the little details. Now, it was time for the first look...Oh, what a first look that was! The dreamy wooded area presented the perfect backdrop to their special moment, and their expressions gave us photos worthy of a magazine. Their first look and romantic portraits could pass as an illustration from a classic fairy tale, Christina and Gene's love for each other is simply enchanting. There was no need to do any corny poses or stage fake shots, they really had a great connection that day and the wedding party as well! The great vibe and natural flow stayed present throughout the day. Christina and Gene's outdoor ceremony at Masso's Manor Park and Garden had a modern feel, set between beautiful trees and Greco-Roman gazebo. Laughs were shared during some funny moments and more happy tears shed during their vows. Their first official kiss as man and wife was followed by a big cheers, clapping and lots of tiny bubbles. Now, it was time to eat and party! The fun and festivities went took place only a steps over at Masso's Orchard Garden. The reception had an open-air feel, thanks to the permanent tent venue. Masso's Orchard Garden was built specifically for modern outdoor style weddings and even features LED lighting to illuminate the whole party. Christina and Gene's reception was LIT from the second they walked in and stayed pumping until the end. The newlywed's slowed things down and had all eyes on them as they danced to an acoustic version of 'Wanted' by Boyce Avenue. Other sweet memories were made during their special parent dances and unforgettable gags took place during the cake cutting and garter removal. Christina and Gene really went for it with their cake smash, no dainty feeding there! And, we can never forget Gene going into the 'Danger Zone' under Christina's dress, while guests cheer as the Kenny Loggins song of the same name played.
We had been eagerly awaiting the union of Christina and Gene for months, ever since he swept her off her feet (literally) during their engagement session at Croft Farm last fall. The photos from that fall day made it clear, they were super fun people and their wedding would be a blast. It was so much of a blast, we actually had a hard time choosing photos for this post. Here are just some of the tender moments and pure excitement from their fantastic wedding day!
